Hello Comrades of Argonne Post 138, Winterport Well, we are at the beginning of another new year. A year, I hope, will lead to good fortune and good health to us all. Over the Winter Post Leadership has been busy taking care of the Post affairs, banking, Membership updates and other tasks. There is one activities that I am involved with is ordering the replacement of our OLD M 1 Garand's. I am cautiously optimistic as I received the clips in late Feburary, this tells me that they received our request. As I stated, Cautiously optimistic. This year is our Nation's 250 Birthday. Let's all plan to attend a Post meeting to hash together some Ideas for celebrations. Our first meeting is scheduled for April 9 at 7PM in the Victoria Grant Community Building. At this meeting we will be accepting nominations for Post Officers. The list of Offices that need to be filled is that of Commander, 1st Vice Commander, 2nd Vice Commander, Adjutant, Finance Officer , Post Chaplain, Sargent at Arms, Post Historian and Americanism Officer.
