It has been a turbulent year for Post 24. With the passing of Greg Holbrook our Post Commander, and our post being on the cusp of closure for a few years, we have some hard decisions to make. our rifles have been turned in to DoD. We no longer have a rifle squad to serve at funerals. We did however just receive a transmittal for a new resident in Garfield for joining the post! it give me a glimmer of hope for hanging on, but it is not my decision alone. We must decide as an organization what our future holds. Our next meeting is this Thursday at 7 PM. We will be both in person and via Zoom.
