Hello Legionnaires On behalf of the Commander, Bill Glover, we are moving ahead with a significant fund-raiser for our Post. Brett Lovejoy from TNT Fireworks presented to the members at our monthly meeting last week about signing up to sell fireworks at the Walmart parking lot this July 4th season. A church organization, that had sold fireworks in prior years, bowed out of doing it this year, leaving the opportunity open. Brett presentation was very informative. TNT Fireworks basically handles all the logistics for a complete turn-key operation. Product, tent, tables, sales-tools are all provided by TNT. What we commit to on the opening day is petty-cash to start responding to sales on the first day. Also, we need manpower for the 10 to 14 days of sales. In this final regard, we are obviously challenged. We have decided to team-up with the Twin County Jeep club and, considering their additional work force, we believe this combined effort will assure both our organizations success. Please consider how you can commit to a couple of hours with this fund-raiser. We can use any help you can provide, even if it is just being able to sit and assist with checkout.
