Also want to invite you to a Veterans Day BBQ dinner/banquet. It will be held at the Post in Alpine. We will, start serving at 18:00. This is a sit down event. There will be No, To-Go Meals. If some of our members in Alpine need assistance to get to dinner, we will have someone come and collect you then return you to your home afterward. If you cannot get out contact us and we will deliver dinner to you if you wish. This is a chance for all of us to come together over a good meal and have some fellowship. Look at it as an open house at the Post. Tickets are Required, they are available at the Post. For Legionaries, to pick up tickets you must present your American Legion Membership card. Other ID accepted are from the VA, VFW, DAV or other Veteran organization. For those not members of these organization a Drivers License with Veteran on it or your DD-214. Tickets are also available from Myself or the other Officers of the Post. Anyway, this is your personal invite to our Veterans Day meal at the Post 79. This is a Free meal for the Veteran and their Significant other Only. I plan to send out periodic emails with news from the Post, and notice of up coming events at the Post. We are an upwardly mobile Post and have become an example in Texas of a Post on the move. By definition and structure, we are a Veteran Service Organization. We are here to serve not only our members but All Veterans in our Big Bend Area, and beyond. Contact me anytime.
