Brothers and Sisters of the Legion: This is the first time that I've contacted any of you and I am thankful to be able to communicate with the group. My name is Shawn Ward and I'm serving as your Post's Adjutant. There are so many of you that I've met in the past couple of months and I thank you for the warm and friendly welcome I've received from you all. So if there is anything I can do for you, please don't hesitate to put it in writing, in triplicate and in the appropriate circular file.....I'll get to it as soon as the trash goes.... But seriously, I'm here for you. Unfortunately, not everyone has a registered email address with the Post. So, if you could I'd just like to ask that you PLEASE respond and let me know your status. PLEASE?? You can respond with anything....just so I know you're alive and well. I'm going to try in the future to put out an email about the happenings. Similar to the old Bull Whip but a lot cheaper.... Now, I ask that you stop in and see us at the Post sometime. We have lots of events scheduled and planned. It's a new day, a new beginning. A fresh new start. So stop in and see us. IF you can catch me, you'll just have to tell me what ship was the first US Navy Ship to open fire on an enemy vessel at the start of WW II (two not eleven) you'll get a free drink on on me...but, you have to get to me first....limited to one per day.
