To All Post Members Ove the Past several years the National American Legion The Department of New Jersey and the County have raised their dues. I have This do to loss of membership and Costs of Operating. I have been a Member for 46 years. When I joined Membership dues was $35 dollars. We are now at $40 dollars per year. This coming year the dues for National, State and County will come to $42 Dollars per Member per year. At our present rate of $40 Dollars we would be loosing $2 Dollars for each Member. I have to submit the form by April 9 2026 to either raise Our Dues to $45 Dollars or loose $2 Dollars for every member. We have discussed at every Post meeting since October. The consensus at the meetings was the need to raise at a minimum to $45 Dollars. The votes by the Members at the meeting have concurred. The need to raise the dues should be kept to a minimum.
